Privacy policy

Who we are

NavPoorna publishes short, honest digital guides on women’s health — periods and cycle health, pregnancy planning, and perimenopause. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this site or buy a guide, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to serve you, and it falls into three buckets:

• When you buy a guide, our payment partner Razorpay collects your name, email address, phone number and payment details to complete the sale. We receive your email address and phone number so we can deliver the guide, send your receipt, and help you if a payment does not go through.
• When you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you picked, and the message you send.
• If you sign up for updates, we keep the email address you gave us so we can send them.

What we do not collect

We do not collect health information about you. We never ask which stage you are in, what symptoms you have, or why you bought a guide. We do not use advertising trackers, and we never sell, rent or trade your information with anyone.

How we use your information

We use your information only for the reason you gave it to us:

• To deliver the guide you bought and send your receipt and any purchase updates.
• To reply to the message you send us.
• To send the updates you explicitly signed up for.
• To understand, in anonymous and aggregate form, how people use the site so we can improve it.

Payments

All payments are processed by Razorpay on their own secure platform. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank account details. Razorpay has its own privacy policy on its website, and that governs the payment part of your transaction.

Email and communications

We email you only about a purchase (delivery, receipt, refunds, support) or content you explicitly asked for. Transactional email is sent through Resend, our email provider. If a payment does not go through, or you leave the checkout before finishing it, we may email you once to let you pick it back up — every one of those reminders carries a one-click link to stop them. Every newsletter or update includes a one-click unsubscribe, and opting out never affects the emails you are entitled to, such as your receipt.

Where your information is stored

The information we hold is kept safely by our infrastructure partners:

• Supabase — a secure cloud database that stores information you send us, such as contact-form messages.
• Razorpay — processes payments; your card details never reach us.
• Resend — sends our transactional email to you.

How long we keep information

We keep contact messages only as long as we need them to help you, and we review them regularly. Purchase records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal reasons. When we no longer need your information, we delete it.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law, you have rights over your information. You can:

• Ask us what we hold about you, and for a copy of it.
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your information.
• Withdraw consent to receive updates at any time.

To use any of these rights, write to us at the email below. We will honour your request within 7 days — that is a promise we make.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information — for example, payment pages are encrypted and our databases require access credentials. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

NavPoorna guides are written for adults. Our site and services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and post the new version here. For significant changes, we will make it obvious on the site.
